Mouse Parker
============

Puts your mouse cursor on one fixed spot after a stretch with no mouse or
keyboard input (6 hours by default). The clock starts at your last touch,
so it can't fire while you're using the PC, and it needs nothing from you
at bedtime. If your PC is locked when it's time to park, it parks the
moment you unlock.

It doesn't poll. It sets one alarm for 6 hours after your last touch and
re-arms it if you've touched anything since. Between alarms it sleeps in
Windows' efficiency mode and gives its idle memory back to Windows.

Build (once)
------------
1. Put this folder where it will live, e.g. C:\Tools\MouseParker.
"Start with Windows" points at this location.
2. Double-click build.bat. It uses the C# compiler that ships with Windows,
so nothing needs installing. It builds MouseParker.exe and starts it.

Use
---
The icon, a white mouse on black, appears in the tray. On Windows 11 it may
sit behind the ^ arrow; drag it out to keep it visible. Click it to open
Mouse Parker's page. Click Close, click anywhere else, or press Esc to
close it.

The page, top to bottom:

Moon / sun, top right switches between light and dark; the choice
carries over to Download Spots and Hide All if
                          you have them
On / Off the line under it says when it last parked
Park after hours and minutes with no mouse or keyboard
input; hold - or + to go faster, or scroll
Park at screen center or your spot. Choosing one
flashes a thin cross where it will park. My spot
stays grayed out until you pick your first spot
Pick spot click anywhere on screen to set your spot; a
thin cross marks the current one. Esc or
                          right-click cancels
Park now moves the cursor there now, to check the spot
Start with Windows switched on the first time it runs

Without a mouse: Tab or the arrow keys move between controls, Enter or
Space uses one, and Page Up, Page Down, Home and End scroll when the page
is taller than the screen. The page also describes its controls to screen
readers such as Narrator.

Along the bottom:

Uninstall... removes it completely (asks first)
Quit stops Mouse Parker until you start it again
Close closes this page; Mouse Parker keeps running

When it's off, the mouse in the tray icon turns gray. Off is remembered
across restarts.

With the screen on all night, the parked cursor hovers whatever is under
it. Pick a spot where hovering does nothing, not one where a page might
start hover previews.

Quick test
----------
Set "Park after" to 0 h 01 min and don't touch anything for about a
minute. The cursor should jump to your spot, and the page should say
"Last parked ...". Set it back to 6 h afterwards.

Uninstall
---------
Open the page and choose Uninstall... After you confirm, it removes its
startup entry and settings, closes, and a few seconds later deletes its
files (MouseParker.exe, MouseParker.cs, MouseParker.ico, build.bat,
README.txt). The folder goes too if that leaves it empty; anything else you
put in it is left alone.

If the files are still there afterwards, something blocked the deletion.
Just delete the folder by hand; the startup entry and settings are already
gone.
