Extract to a permanent folder, then run build.bat on Windows to build and launch the app. The supplied script requires the .NET Framework C# compiler it looks for on your computer. No prebuilt executable or installer is included.
Use a small desktop button to minimize windows and hide desktop icons and the taskbar. Choose which actions run, add an optional keyboard shortcut, optionally pause media or mute sound, and snap the mouse to the button’s centre when hiding. The hiding action does not close your apps or delete your files.
One desktop button
Place it at the primary screen’s center or a position you choose. Add a keyboard shortcut to toggle the view.
Choose what hides
Minimize windows, hide desktop icons and hide the taskbar independently. Automatic hiding after inactivity is optional.
Optional quiet mode
Pause supported media sessions and mute active playback outputs. Restoring the desktop sends no play command.
The three visual actions start enabled. Mouse centering, media pausing, muting, automatic hiding and the keyboard shortcut start disabled. This is not a screen lock. Read the setup and practical limits.
